    Showcase Your Talent on RemoteHub

Portfolio is an essential part of an effective digital professional profile page. On RemoteHub you can showcase your talent with as many portfolio projects as you like. You can publish dedicated projects for your different services, and show your experience and creativity.

    Does Everyone Need a Portfolio?

Your online portfolio is your business card in the world of digital professionals. For many industries that’s always been a given. Design, advertising and marketing portfolio projects long predate the existence of the internet.

However, a professional portfolio is increasingly important now across all careers and industries. It’s a universal showcase of your skills in action. For employers, it provides a real benchmark of what you’re capable of, and can be far more informative than CVs.When you post your portfolio projects on RemoteHub, they will be published both on your profile and in a special section Browse Portfolios, so everyone, including your potential clients, will be able to easily find them.

    How to Post a Portfolio

On RemoteHub, we made it very easy for you to post portfolio projects to find new clients and get feedback from our professional community. You can showcase your designs, illustrations, video, marketing pitches, and everything else!

The process is very simple, but there are a few key steps to remember.

First, give your portfolio project a Title that reflects its essence.

Next up, it’s time to add Videos as long as they fit your project. Not every portfolio needs a video, but they are great for driving up your portfolio’s engagement. It would be especially relevant for professionals in motion design, voice over services, video editing, and even business consulting.

Time to get visual now. You can add up to 20 high-resolution Images to illustrate your project. Keep in mind that the first picture you upload will serve as the project’s cover image, so prepare a good cover image to catch users’ attention and get more visibility. Check your project afterwards to see how it looks, and if any adjustments are needed.

If you work doesn’t involve creating visual products, use a single-color background. Overlay a text description of your project or case study. After this cover image, you can tell the story of your project with data, charts, and graphs.

Select a Category for your portfolio project. Your portfolio will be published under this category in the Portfolios section, so make sure it’s the right fit for your project.

Optionally, you can also add a number of Tags to your project. Tags are useful to capture traffic from employers searches. Add every tag you can think of that could help customers find your work.

If your portfolio includes a product that is already live online somewhere, you can link to it. This is particularly useful for web designers, graphic designers, developers and content creators.

In the About section, tell potential customers everything they need to know to understand your project. This can include the scope and context, audience, technologies deployed, or details about your working process.

Finally, take a look at your entire portfolio project, and check for any mistakes or potential improvements. If it all looks good, you’re ready to publish! Click the Publish button and take your portfolio live.

Keep in mind that we regularly feature the best portfolios both on top of the Portfolios section and on our social profiles: Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter. Publish your best projects to get a chance to be featured, which can bring you even more attention, new professional connections, and clients!
